Most artisans live in poor rural communities, with no access to finance, business or marketing expertise. They are unable to turn their skills into livelihoods.
Consumer demand for fair and authentic goods is growing. With that demand comes opportunity. That’s why we empower artisans to show the world what they are made of.

A SPOON AT A TIME
A talented artisan from a community of Romanian woodworkers, Strugurel is exceptionally skilled and determined. However, precarious conditions in his workshop led to a fire in the winter of 2021 which destroyed not only his house, but also his means to make a living. Co/rizom is pre-financing both the renovation of his workshop and the raw materials required to fulfil his first order. We connected him to a client who is purchasing several hundred wooden honey spoons. He is now developing a new collection that will be ready for distribution. in June 2022.
